This lens also features an advanced optical design, including a series of Super UD and UD elements to greatly reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing throughout the zoom range for a degree of clarity and color accuracy.

The Dual Nano USM focusing system delivers fast, near-silent autofocus performance with full-time manual focus override.
