Leica Ultravid 8x50 HD-Plus Negro

The Leica Ultravid 8x50 HD Plus binoculars have a 50mm lens diameter. The Ultravid HD Plus is a further evolution of the original Ultravid HD binocular series. With the introduction of the HD Plus, Leica aimed to improve both the use of materials and the viewing experience. They have succeeded in working with Schott HT-glass optics to integrate a sharper image across almost the entire field of view. This achieves a high-contrast image with accurate colors and virtually no distortion, even in low light conditions.

Schott HT glass ensures excellent light transmission in the blue/violet range, improving color reproduction and low-light performance. The scratch- and abrasion-resistant High Resistance Coating (HDC) on the lens surface provides excellent protection against oil, water, and dirt.

The roof prisms are equipped with phase correction and Leica's High Lux (HLS) coating. This coating virtually eliminates chromatic aberrations, providing improved contrast and color reproduction.

The Ultravid HD-Plus binoculars are made of a lightweight, durable aluminum body with a titanium hinge for hours of comfortable viewing. The binoculars are nitrogen-filled and therefore fog-free with temperature changes.
